she's barely a year old,

and no i am not referring to a human baby. she is my dog. we named her blacky well i wouldn't say that we named her named her more like we gave her a title for us to call since we couldn't really agree on one single name, hence the slight-lower-than-common name. anyway i just call her girl. like you know 'come here girl'. *shrugs*.

she chews random stuff. a lot. okay scratch that; she obliterates the stuff that she lay her muzzle on and i am not exaggerating when i use the word obliterate. take for example, our newspapers. there would be umm the startwo portion at the left side of our lawn, the sports section at the other side, if you wanna read the national news head on to our porch and if you are keenly interested in catching up day to day world news...well let's just say it'll probably be partially digested by enzymes in her stomach. then there are our shoes, slippers blah blah.

thing is..it's okay when those things are cheap but then sometimes our human minds slip and we err, like we forget to bring in our fav pair of sneakers or heels and the world comes to an end for them footwear. sigh. my parents are really angry at her at those times and they are this close to relocating her at some far far away remote area.

and i am torn right in the between. because i can understand why she bites and chews, non-stop. because it's in her nature..it's not like she bears us any ill will and thus take revenge on our belongings lying outside. but then again, my footwear has never exactly been fallen victims to her. so i wouldn't be able to empathize with them. besides i would hate myself if i hit her too hard for doing such things, the actions that we humans label as disciplining the dogs.

so yeahhh. sigh.

  1. Awww, Blacky is a cool name, the last dog I knew with that name was male though, not that it matters.

Maybe you should train her a bit, buy her something to chew on, like those little toys dogs usually have. And having her chew and actually digest paper could be dangerous for her.
Don't let your parents put her away, treat her like that naughty family member, they're naughty, but they're still family :)
